Sold at auction yesterday for 130 million euros...

The Picasso painting “Woman with a Wristwatch” was sold at auction yesterday for 130 million euros. I knitted it a few years ago for much less 😉

Dear Ruth, you were way ahead of your time. If your sweater—along with the painting—had been auctioned off, it would have driven the price up even higher. The owner could then show off what he’d actually bought. That would have been a real showstopper. Personally, I’m not that fond of the design, but it’s definitely an eye-catcher. When you wear this sweater, people are sure to take a good look at you, and the brave ones will strike up a conversation about the design. Thank you so much for showing us this little treasure.
