Sock yarn is wonderful for knitting children’s clothing. These pants for toddlers from age 1 have suspenders and can grow with the child. This way they’re always dressed nice and warm, without anything slipping out of place. A cable pattern is knitted into the sides, a pretty eye-catcher.

This short poncho is one of my favorite garments. It’s not only quick and easy to knit, but also incredibly practical. Just slip it on and your upper body is immediately comfortably warm, without making you sweat. Your arms still keep their wonderful freedom of movement.

Next, I’m going to give a poncho like this as a gift.

These wrist warmersare ideal if you work a lot on the computer and your hands get cold easily. They are knitted using a patchwork technique. There’s no need to sew anything together, because the individual patches are simply knitted on one at a time. To keep the wrist warmers from slipping, they are fastened around the middle finger with a loop.
For these wrist warmers I used a total of 40 g of sock yarn: 20 g in black and 20 g of gradient yarn.

My Noble Hand Stripes can be knitted up very quickly from leftover sock yarn.
They are knitted as a rectangle with a simple slipped-stitch pattern.
You’ll need a maximum of 2 x 40 g of yarn.
