All Saints' Day 2023

Dear users, dear authors,
how are you spending today / the All Saints' Day holiday?

Taking it very slow... with lots of handicrafts and DIY projects, baking, and going for walks.

Since we had the holiday yesterday, today we’re back to our “normal” routine of running errands, etc., and of course knitting and crocheting.

My grandma always used to say on All Saints' Day: "Today is All Saints' Day, tomorrow is All Souls' Day, and the day after tomorrow it'll be the turn of all the silly devils like us :-))))

It’s still mild out, but it’s raining. I’ve started clearing the summer flowers off the balcony. The geraniums are still in full bloom and full of buds, so they can stay for now.
Other than that, I’m pottering around the house a bit, and of course I’m also crocheting and reading.
Here in Cologne, today is also a holiday. Yesterday was Halloween, but we don’t really notice it here—on our street, almost all the kids are too old for it, and the few remaining ones are still very young and can’t walk yet.
