For small amounts of leftover yarn, I always have lots of great ideas for you. You can crochet lots of things for children in particular that will bring joy again and again.



The doll mommy will certainly be delighted when her little doll gets a pretty bathrobe . Of course, it will be especially wonderful if it is crocheted from plush yarn that looks like terrycloth. Since the bathrobe is crocheted with double crochet stitches, it’s not difficult to find the insertion points, because you can feel the individual double crochet stitches well. But as you can see in the picture, other yarns are also suitable, e.g. cotton (the lilac bathrobe) or thin chenille yarn (the bottle-green bathrobe). A bathrobe like this can also be made for male fashion dolls. There is also the pattern for the shower sandals and for a towel.

Especially young children love playing with finger puppets: lion, hippo, and little monkey, which you can quickly crochet from a few cotton scraps. For the lion, you’ll also need a little eyelash yarn for the mane. And then the puppet theater with jungle stories can start right away!



And then there are the little bookworms who eagerly devour exciting books. They absolutely need a cool bookmark. Funny Frog Prince will be especially loved by fairy-tale fans. A crochet hook, some green yarn, and the tiniest leftovers in yellow, red, white, and black are enough.
