Since the weather here is autumnal but still quite warm, it’s time to work in the garden. There’s still quite a bit to do there. And a walk in the woods is also on the agenda.

Of course, I’ll be knitting, too. I’m going to come up with a new design for my little granddaughter. She needs a cardigan.

I’m hosting a creative afternoon tomorrow and will be teaching macramé.
We’ll be making a lantern.

....we’re experiencing a “storm surge” on the Schlei, with water levels about 1.70–1.80 above normal.... (The Schlei is fed by the Baltic Sea, and this branch ends in Schleswig.)
I’m so glad I went to the post office yesterday at noon and dropped off the swap package. In Schleswig, almost nothing is moving anymore... Right here where I am, it’s stormy and pouring heavily... but I still have to take the dog out in a minute. The upside is, no one else will be “out for a walk” 😁
I’m taking the hiking trail through the moor.... At least there aren’t any tall trees there....
After that, it’s straight to the couch.... Time to put the cozy yarn from the swap package on my needles 😉

everyone’s weekend looks different. So it won’t be boring.
My fruit tart bases are done, and 2 cakes have been ordered. Other than that, a little party is planned for tomorrow. Today I still had a dentist appointment, I’m a bit worn out and have a bit of a headache. It was a bit too much excitement today, and I’m wondering whether everything will work out tomorrow the way I hope.

It’s supposed to get warm here again, we’ll see. I did call “up there” and ordered sunshine for tomorrow.

I don’t have anything planned for this weekend either. I’ll be doing puzzles, reading, and crafting. In between, I’ll do a little cooking and baking.

@Steffi—I hope you don’t get flooded, that everything blows over quickly, and that the weather calms down again.

We heard about that earlier on the news here in Switzerland.
I hope everything turns out well and that you won’t have to expect any major damage.

Here at my house, I don’t have as much water to contend with, but there are very large trees right next to the house… and the wind is really blowing hard… We’ve already gone around the house this afternoon and secured everything that isn’t anchored down.
The storm is supposed to stay like this until tomorrow morning, and then we’ll take a careful look… 

I’d also like to wish everyone a wonderful weekend.
We had some lovely guests over last night, and on Monday morning at 8 a.m., the contractors are coming to work on the bathroom, so things will be nice and quiet today and tomorrow. I’m slowly reaching an age where I have to pace myself.
The temperature blanket is already up to date—just one more face to embroider, and then another little animal will be finished. We’ll see what I start on next.
