Thanks to this pattern, you have an excellent opportunity to repurpose your scrap photo cardstock or scraps of similarly sturdy decorative paper in a beautiful way.


 
These decorative balls measure approximately 7, 11, and 17.5 cm, and depending on the size of the ball, you can use both slightly larger and very small paper scraps. To create the individual elements of the balls, you should be comfortable using a craft knife, but assembling the balls is a breeze.

These pretty plant sticks are quick and easy to crochet from just a few scraps of leftover yarn, and they also work wonderfully as Christmas tree ornaments or small gifts during the pre-Christmas season.

The set includes the snowman, Santa Claus, the reindeer, and the gingerbread man.

Enjoy making them!

We all have leftover yarn in our stash boxes… lots of colorful skeins. Using them all together, you could crochet a colorful Advent calendar for your children or grandchildren. Each little pouch requires no more than 8 g of yarn. We’ll need 24 of them. We’ll fill them and arrange them on a tray, which we’ll decorate for Christmas. Or we can hang them on a coat hanger. The numbers 1 through 24 are included as a printable template. This is fun and brings joy to everyone. And after Christmas, you can use the little bags for small surprises—for example, placing one on the coffee table for each child at a birthday party.
