What are you working on this week / in October?

dear busy little helpers,
what are you working on? Are you keeping busy in real life and with your crafts? 

Still working on my cardigan—the left front piece is almost up to the top now, thank goodness, is all I’ll say :-)
Today, I took a break to sew a beanie for myself so my sewing machine doesn’t get jealous ;-) :-)

It looks great.
I’m not really the hat type, but I’d even wear this one.
What kind of material or fabric did you use? Is it some kind of fleece?

Thanks, Andrea. No, that’s thin wool jersey, but it’s very warm. The hat is lined—the inside is light gray, just like the band around the bottom. That keeps it nice and warm, and I really need that because my ears are very sensitive.

Inge, your hat is great. Yes, holding the yarn double is a good idea. And hat season has started again for me, too.

I’m working on my fall decorations.

Over the weekend, I made some crocheted acorns. And now I want to try making a bottle gourd. I’ve finished half of it, but I’m not entirely convinced by the result. 





And then little Felino was born last week. So I’m crocheting a pennant garland in the colors the parents requested. 

You’ve all been so hard at work and have made some great fall decorations. Really beautiful!

I’ve finished my “in-between” scarf—I just need to take a photo of it. It’s made from one ball of thin glitter yarn that I bought on a whim a few weeks ago.

My big project is Sonja’s “Wunderwelt” blanket. However, mine is turning out a bit bigger.

Of course, I’m still working on the temperature blanket—now in a cooler shade of green, since it’s gotten more autumnal here, too.
I also finished up some Easter decorations; I was still missing a few chickens.

If only there were just one project...

I still need to embroider a few designs, sew a jacket, and digitize an embroidery pattern...

This weekend there’s an Älplerchilbi festival in the neighboring village and in our own village, and I’ll be playing with the band on both days......
So I’ll get as much done as possible today and finish the rest on Tuesday..... Wednesday and Thursday, I’ll squeeze in some housework, laundry, cleaning,... Next weekend I’ll be on a club outing with the band...... It’ll all work out somehow—it has to.....

I’m currently working on a double-face slipper sock.

I sewed myself that sweatshirt dress, and now that I took a look at the rest of my sweatshirt fabric, lo and behold—it’s going to make a matching jacket too :-))) I’m currently working out the pattern, and I’m using the same pattern as I did for the dress. A good basic pattern offers 1,000 possibilities :-)

I ended up doing a little Halloween project on a whim.

I really like the spider, but I’m not entirely satisfied with the bat. I crocheted both based on a pattern I found online.
