It’s still summer here—until tomorrow. Then it’ll feel very autumnal, just right for snuggling up with yarn and needles.

It’s stormy and rainy here, but it’s not cold—yet. So it’s perfect weather for crafts.

Here in Main-Franconia, it’s 26° again today—crazy if you ask me. Starting tomorrow, it’ll only be around 11°, so we’re in for some classic fall weather :-) ;-)
My embroidery machine is hard at work—it’s currently stitching my sister’s birthday present.

Yes, it’s still really warm, but rainy here. Starting Sunday, though, it’s supposed to get quite cool all of a sudden—somehow we rarely get those gentle transitions. But we really can’t complain; summer in the Rhineland was nearly perfect—not too hot, plenty of rain, so everything should have turned out just fine.
I’ll finish my Easter decorations tomorrow, or the day after at the latest, and I’ve got my eye on a new project too—of course, still alongside the temperature blanket.
And then I bought some wool—oh wait, no, I’ve learned my lesson now: I bought some yarn! Nah, I didn’t need anything.... but then there were soooo many things on sale at Lacritza—I’d just popped in to take a look, honestly, completely by chance.... 🤣🤣 So if anyone else needs some great gradient yarn at a bargain price....
I also ordered some ribbon yarn this time—just a bargain, really—but I still have to figure out what to do with it; I’ve never worked with it before.

We had summer weather today too and went to Wilhelma with our grandson. 

Now we're sitting on the terrace for a bit. I'm crocheting acorns. I'll show them to you when I've finished some. 

I don't have any plans for the rest of the weekend yet.
