As the weather gets cooler, you’ll start feeling the urge to get into winter and Christmas decorations. Here are some ideas for what you can crochet using your leftover yarn:

These
Christmas ornaments are crocheted around a metal ring, which gives them a bit of weight. Decorate them however you like with ribbons, beads, sequins, and whatever else you have at home. The ornaments can be used to decorate Christmas gifts or the Christmas tree. But you can also use them as small picture frames for family photos.

The cute
snowflakes have a small pocket on the back, so you can use them as an Advent calendar or hide a little message inside. They aren’t strictly a Christmas motif, though, and still look great as window decorations in January.

You can also make an Advent calendar out of the
crocheted little fir trees, since they’re hollow inside. They can be crocheted in various sizes. The medium-sized ones can also be turned into egg cozies.
