Do you know "African Flowers"? They are hexagons with a floral pattern. The hexagons are crocheted individually and then joined together. This is ideal for using up leftover yarn, because the more colorful they are, the prettier they look! Here I made a small cosmetic bag from them. It is about 20 cm long and 14 cm high and closes with a zipper.

And another great and practical way to use leftover yarn: a reading bone! This is a neck pillow that, thanks to its special shape, lets you read comfortably in any position.
