If you have a skein of yarn, you’ll find suitable patterns here in this thread that you can use to get started right away. Have fun with them.

To crochet around an empty Kinder Surprise egg shell, you’ll need much less than one ball of yarn; just a few grams is usually enough.

You can crochet the green Surprise Egg toad, for example, if you want to give someone “toads,” i.e. a monetary gift. When it opens its mouth, you can take out the banknote hidden in its belly. It can also be used as a keychain with storage for a token.


The cute little mini seal is also an original keychain that uses very little yarn.



And here’s another keychain for using up leftover yarn: Björn the polar bear, which can also be used to spruce up a Christmas gift.

You can knit these dishcloths or washcloths with less than one skein of cotton or even bamboo-cotton. Even as a beginner knitter with basic knowledge, you can do it thanks to the detailed pattern. The motifs are created using only knit and purl stitches. Here are just a few examples; you’ll find many more motifs in my shop.

Heart pendant

You can use it as a gift tag, a scented sachet in your wardrobe, or a keychain. Or simply give it without a ribbon as a heart to someone dear to you who is especially important to you. Even 1/2 half a skein of cotton is enough.





Knitting pattern: Long Dress with Slit

It is knitted in one piece with a set of double-pointed needles. You can knit it in a solid color or with gradient yarn. Sock yarn is also very suitable. That way, more dresses will be made so all the dolls can have a lovely new dress.






Doorstop “Sandbag”

Here we need one large 150 g skein of variegated yarn. We’ll crochet it into a reliable doorstop that protects any door from drafts. It weighs almost 5 kg. I have one for indoors and one for outside.

Just in time for fall, I have crocheted pumpkins for you.

For small pumpkins, one ball of yarn is enough, and they’re quick to crochet. If you use the yarn doubled or even tripled, you’ll get great pumpkins in different sizes. For the stems, I like to use small twigs—this also adds a bit of individuality to the overall look of your pumpkin display.
