Creative Ways to Use Sock Yarn Scraps + Sock Yarn

This warm leggings for toddlers can be wonderfully knitted from sock yarn. They move with every motion, keep them nice and warm, and are also easy to knit yourself. The pattern describes size 98–104, although the leggings grow along for even longer, as my granddaughters have told me.

A baby leggings can also be knitted really well from sock yarn. This one fit my granddaughter until age 2, and she loved them. Especially her mother did, because cloth diapers fit in them easily too.

These knitted wrist warmers in patchwork technique are great for anyone whose hands get cold easily at the office. They are knitted patch by patch; there are no seams. This is a wonderful way to use up colorful leftover sock yarn. The more colorful the wrist warmers are, the prettier they look!
