We went to the outdoor pool again yesterday. The weather here is still really summery.

Today we’re visiting my mother-in-law, and tomorrow we’re going to see our grandson—they’re back from vacation and I’m sure they’ll have lots to tell us. So, a weekend full of family—just the way I like it.

We’ll be in Ravensburg today with our granddaughters and taking part in “Ravensburg spielt.” We’re really looking forward to it.

We do have the Nachkirm this weekend, but I’m not sure yet whether I’ll go down to the Plan tomorrow. Zwiefelplootz won’t be available until Erntedank in 4 weeks anyway.
Later my daughter is coming over and bringing me a few little things I wrote down for her to get when she goes shopping, things I had forgotten.

We’ll stay home as usual and pass the time there. The weather is changing again, and I can really feel it,
all my joints are aching again.

At noon today, I went to see the special train with a restored historic express steam locomotive. It was twenty minutes late, and it was so hot 😰
When it finally arrived, it roared past at full speed (about 100 km/h). I barely had time to take three photos.

Oh well—when else do you get to see something like that?

It’s sweltering here. We’re staying inside and waiting for the evening. Then we’ll head back out to the patio.

The weather here is still great—blue skies, nice and warm, but not really humid yet.
We’re rearranging the place right now; since my husband can’t leave the house anymore, I have to keep him busy somehow. Thank goodness his condition only affects his legs (which is bad enough)—his hands still work perfectly, so he’s taken up model building, something he used to enjoy as a teenager.
It’s a great idea, but the finished parts will need a place to go eventually, so we’re redecorating now. This also gives me the chance to thoroughly clean all the nooks and crannies I don’t usually get to.
And since it’s so nice and warm, we can sit out on the balcony for a long time in the evenings and treat ourselves to a glass of wine—which is exactly what we did yesterday.

Oh, how lovely, Veronika. It looks so idyllic where you are.
I’m enjoying my weekend off, and we’re treating ourselves to a glass of sparkling wine.
Everyone here has their own hobby too, so we never get bored. Needlework/model making/crafting with beads and paper.
