Advent 2023: Start crafting now

This beautiful tea light holder really shines on a festively decorated table! Even though it’s made only of paper, it looks very elegant and is every bit as lovely as glittering metal or ceramic decorations.



The tea light holder is made from photo cardstock and measures approx. 18 x 2.5 x 18 cm. With a little crafting experience and practice cutting with a craft knife, it is very easy to make.

A Christmas calendar is a must! It simply builds anticipation for Christmas. I like to crochet this one for my grandchildren: It consists of 24 individual little pouches that are perfect for using up leftover yarn.



Then I arrange them either on a tray or on a coat hanger. Of course, they have to be filled and decorated first.

After Christmas, my grandchildren play store with them or hide their treasures inside. When they have sleepovers, they place a filled little pouch on each plate at the breakfast table in the morning—either with a breakfast egg or a surprise inside. I like projects that can be reused.
