Now just a little crocheting on the patio

I’m knitting up the yarn my friend sent me recently. I’ve started a scarf, and when I run out of the yellow yarn (it was only one ball), I’ll finish the other half of the scarf with the blue yarn, so that one half is yellow and the other has a blue background.

Since Christmas stollen, gingerbread, and vanilla crescents have been in the stores for a week now, I’ve started on the little angels—after all, Christmas usually comes faster than you think.

Oh, the week’s almost over again.... I’m still working on dishcloths. Right now I have so many other things to do that I barely have time for crafts during the day.

@¶Veronika—those little angels are so cute. What color are you making them? All the same color, or a mix of colors to use up scraps?

While I was shopping, a bright green color caught my eye on the yarn shelf. I’m going to turn it into a lucky clover dishcloth for myself. 🍀

That’s right—my little angel orchestra is going to be a colorful mix of some smaller scraps that (I hope) go well together. In total, I’m making 10 pieces in 4 colors: 2 x 2 and 2 x 3 little angels.
I’m on the last one, and I’m really running low on skin-colored fabric—I have enough for the head, but it’ll be a close call whether there’s enough left for two hands.

My four-leaf clover is finished, but unfortunately the green doesn’t show up very well.

Maybe there’s more on the other side?

I’m knitting an asymmetrical triangular shawl.
Hopefully this will be the final version, after I’ve unraveled it several times and changed my mind about the pattern.
