Dear users, dear authors,
when crafting, you can save money by using leftovers, taking advantage of the store credit account with a 5% discount, or using the sales with discounted patterns / free patterns.

Of course, you can also sell patterns to add a little extra to your household budget.

It doesn’t always have to be new fabric—you can make lots of great things out of old jeans, for example.

Yarn can be reused if it can be unraveled.

Tin cans make great storage containers—you can either crochet around them or cover them with fabric scraps.

You can even make something new out of adult clothing you no longer wear—it’s a great way to turn it into children’s clothes.

And you can turn worn-out shirts or old bedding into great cleaning rags (e.g., for the car) 🙃

With old flannel sheets that are no longer in use, the middle part is usually worn out. I use the good-quality end pieces to sew small pillowcases (including 80 x 40) or doll bedding.

My husband has a lot of T-shirts in the same color for work. If one has a hole or a stain that won’t come out, I cut them up into yarn. I’m not exactly sure what I’ll make with it yet. Maybe a bath mat or a cat bed?
