What could be worse than cold feet?
My crocheted “Auf Zack” socks will help with that.
They are crocheted from the toe up and get a zigzag pattern after the heel is finished. You can choose the cuff length yourself. Either crochet one sock until half of your 100 g ball of yarn is used up (then you’ll still have enough for the 2nd sock), or stop earlier if you think the cuff is long enough.
The socks are nice and warm, ideal for lounging on the couch or as bed socks.
Of course, you can also wear them in shoes. However, they are a bit thicker than knitted socks.

Almost everyone needs warm gloves.
With bulky yarn, they are quick to knit.
You can knit them in multiple colors using leftover yarn.
I chose light gray + brown as the main colors, plus white + taupe.
This color combination immediately reminded me of coffee with a dollop of cream.
That’s how the name for the mittens “Coffee to go” came about.
You knit in the round with a set of double-pointed needles or other sock needles.
The thumb is knitted along at first, then finished separately later.
Thanks to the detailed description, even experienced beginners can give these gloves a try, provided they have the listed basic knitting skills.
