Would you like to start with patterns for St. Nicholas , Santa Claus , reindeer , elves , and gnomes ? Have fun with these Advent and Christmas patterns.

Reindeer or moose?
The most important difference between the two in nature is their size.
On my Christmas dishcloth, they are the same size.
If you need a moose, then knit the dishcloth with a moose motif.
If you need a reindeer, then call the result a reindeer.
Sometimes it can be that simple….

The knitting is also easy, because you only knit knit and purl stitches.
The exact order is written out in the pattern row by row and stitch by stitch, so even beginners can knit this pretty cloth.

You can use the finished piece not only as a dishcloth , but also as a potholder, washcloth or cleaning cloth.
Without the hanging loop, you have a small Christmas doily and you can even use it to wrap small gifts .
