If you prefer to crochet, I have one of the bestsellers from my shop here in the tapestry crochet technique. The color not currently needed is crocheted in directly, so there are no annoying floats on the back. This technique is very easy to learn and is explained in detail.



Crochet pattern cowl "Winter Dream"

Today I’d like to show you a few especially popular little animals from my shop:



First there is Squirrel Kiki. It is crocheted from rust-brown cotton yarn. For the tail, I used fringe yarn in the same color. But you can also crochet it with acrylic or mohair and then brush it out vigorously so it becomes nice and bushy. Kiki is about 14 cm tall.




I also used fringe yarn for Hedgehog Ingo, namely for the spines. This makes them very soft and not prickly at all. And so the body is just as cuddly, I crocheted it with thin chenille yarn. Ingo is also about 14 cm tall and, together with Kiki, fits into any fall decoration.




Alpaca Pamina is my granddaughter’s favorite because it is so wonderfully soft and cuddly. Here I worked with plush yarn. So that the stitches are easy to see, I crocheted along with a thin cotton yarn as a carry-along thread. The hooves, muzzle, and ears are again made from thin chenille yarn.

Fall unfortunately comes faster than you think. That’s why I’ve revised the Bamberg pattern for you and added two more sizes! The popular Bamberg hat can now be knitted in the following sizes:

XS (40cm)
S (fits up to a head circumference of 50cm/20“),
M (up to 55cm/22“),
L (more than 55cm/22“)
XL (60cm)

Individual granny squares are crocheted and then crocheted together at the end.

Here, too, small amounts of yarn are enough to knit these little shoes with a set of double-pointed needles. Some experience with a cable needle is recommended. 

A pop-up greeting card does take a little more effort to make than a simple folded card, but it’s worth it. After all, a card like this is usually received as something very special and kept as a long-lasting memory.



This birthday card is made from photo cardstock and construction paper. When folded, it measures approx. 21 x 10.5 cm. With a little crafting experience, especially experience making pop-up cards, it is very easy to recreate.
