What are you working on?

Dear users, dear authors,
what are you currently working on?

I’m still knitting my jacket, but since my hands are giving me trouble right now, it’s taking forever—I manage 3–4 rows a day at most. Luckily, the jacket is for me and not a commission—otherwise it would be a lifelong project ;-) :-) for me. That way, no one’s rushing me, and when it’s done, it’s done, no matter how long it takes me to knit it.
Then, when I feel like it, I sew little hats and other things for the children’s food bank

This year, my temperature blanket has been with me every day, and I’m also tinkering with a custom sofa cushion in the shape of a specific car—not that easy, but it’s fun too. Now at least I know what the authors here put in when they offer something new, considering the time, the mountains of scrap paper, and all the unraveling....

I’m still working on my blanket. On the side, I’m crocheting acorns every now and then for my autumn decorations. 

And then I still need to finish sewing a pennant garland for the garden—I started it yesterday and still need to sew it onto the ribbon. 

And then there are my colorful stones. But I painted them all yesterday. Now I need to paint some more. This time they’ll be light-blue stones with just one flower in the middle. 

As you can see, there’s always work to do 

Aside from all the “little things” that come up here and there or are just lying around, I’ve started working on the diamond painting for our wedding anniversary.

I’m knitting, but this second “poncho sweater” isn’t coming together very well right now....
Today my “package” with the diamond painting kits arrived;
I’m hoping this “detailed” craft project will help me refocus.... 

I painted two more stones today.

I’m going to look online to see how best to lay them in the garden so no one breaks a leg.

@ Petra, I’ve worked with and painted a lot of stones in the past. Back then, I was in my early 20s... my goodness, what a wonderful time.
Once the stones were finished and painted, I’d brush them with a clear varnish. That made them look even more beautiful.

I sealed them with boat varnish. They have a really great shine afterward.

Doing that is a lot of fun.

I’ve finished my diamond painting, except for a few tiny bits left and rolling it out.

Now I’m waiting for my sister-in-law to get her act together about the crocheted curtain.
