Quick weekend projects are my knitted motif cloths.

You can never have enough of them, because you can use them as a dishcloth, cleaning cloth, cuddle cloth, paw cloth, comfort cloth, or doily.
You can combine several of them and knit table ribbons, table runners, tablecloths, centerpieces, baby blankets, etc…
You can also knit the motifs into the front or back of a baby sweater or children’s sweater.

If you crochet a whole skein, you’ll have an easy yet eye-catching table decoration ready at any time. But be careful: the tealight holder is intended only for LED tealights!




And if you’re on your own? You can still make yourself cozy with a cup of tea! Ideally with an exciting book. “Journey to Bruges” is what I named this knitted cape for the colder season, because it was knitted while traveling on vacation.

Using thick yarn and needle size 7/8, this cape is knitted in knit and purl stitches—the pattern is so easy to work, and another repeat is finished in no time. It is knitted in the round from the bottom up. 

A great weekend project—and a fantastic gift for anyone who likes Lego or other building blocks. The pencil case is easy to crochet and suitable for beginners, too. Of course, the case is just as useful for other small items, such as crochet hooks or knitting needles. So it’s best to get started right away and make sure your stitches are joined with love!
