The temperatures shot up way too fast again—my circulation just can’t keep up with that at all. :-( The weather’s really churning, too; the way my bones are feeling, something’s definitely on the way. I’ll keep myself busy at home and spend a lot of time lying down

It’s a bit warmer here, too, but there are thick clouds again, and rain is on the way.
And I have to go back to work today. I still have a bit of a cough.

Yes, thank goodness—it’s been nice again since yesterday. I was already all set for October and was so happy to be able to enjoy the garden again yesterday. However, it’s true, as Inge so aptly puts it, that these drastic temperature swings really take a toll on your circulation.

Let’s hope the weather stays stable now.

After the last two days were wonderful, it’s miserable again today—it poured all night, pure muggy humidity. Today it’s sunny one minute and raining the next, which doesn’t really improve the humid air either.
I’m feeling a bit under the weather anyway—I’ve caught a stupid cough—so I’m just going to do nothing for a while.
Well, crocheting and reading still work, but eating and sleeping are a bit more complicated.

It’s muggy here in Wolfsburg. On Friday it was almost too warm, and yesterday we had a mix of sunshine—accompanied by muggy, warm air—and thunderstorms with downpours. Have a wonderful Sunday, everyone. Best wishes, Michaela 

We had a storm here two days ago with fallen trees, damaged roofs, and some hail. A house in this area was struck by lightning and burned to the ground. Cleanup efforts are still underway. So it was pretty intense.

Fortunately, everything here remained intact. It was pretty scary—so much lightning and thunder, and torrential rain.

This weekend is supposed to be a sweltering 34 degrees (feels like 36). What’s going to happen next? No one can work without air conditioning in this heat.

Up here in the north, the weather is pretty strange, too. Today it’s... like high fog or haze—hard to describe, a bit like fogged-up glasses... and at the same time, it’s quite oppressively warm.... 20 degrees with 77% humidity....
I’m slowly starting to wonder if this might have something to do with all the fires that are currently raging all over the world? The smoke has to go somewhere—it doesn’t just disappear. Could that be affecting the “weather” somehow??? The sun’s permeability???? Or am I way off base with this line of thinking?
