Is summer over?

Dear users, dear authors,
Is summer 2023 over, or will the weather get nice again?

Well, for the past two days, you’d almost think so here—it’s cold; I’m wearing socks, otherwise my feet would be like ice, and I’ve put on a cardigan. In the evenings, I curl up under my colorful blanket while watching TV because it’s so chilly—my cardigan and my slippers have to keep me warm on top of that. It could definitely warm up a bit more, but it doesn’t need to get higher than 25/26°—anything else just isn’t my thing.

Well, there isn’t much summer left—autumn starts next month. And here in Cologne, it looks just like it does at Inge’s: wet, cold, and gloomy, and the weather app doesn’t predict much improvement anytime soon. We’re supposed to get one or two sunnier, warmer days, but then the rain will come right back to cool things down. I don’t think we’ll get much more out of it.
