Finish a UFO: complete a leftover UFO this week

Dear users, dear designers,
can you finish a leftover UFO = unfinished object = unfinished handmade project this week?

Oh Josefa, you keep reminding me of my UFOs ☺️

I’m still working on a UFO—a baby blanket. Unfortunately, it’s going to take a little while longer. Just one more pattern repeat, and then I’ll add a border. With each round, there are more and more stitches… I’ve already reached 130 stitches on one side x 4 sides = 520 stitches per round.

In the meantime, I’m actually working on a new pattern for fall. That’s actually a UFO, too, because I started crocheting and writing it down last year. Now I just need to put the finishing touches on it and take some pictures.

Does anyone have a tip for me on how I can sew on the legs/feet
without the stuffing peeking out in between 😩

Help, I just counted and I have 12 UFOs (6 of which almost don’t count, 2 are easy/no-thinking projects for now and then, 2 vacation projects, one garden project, and the dachshund 🐶) 😲😇

Yesss, I finally finished it after over a year...and I realized that I’d rather crochet scarves and sweaters than amigurumi. A snowman is still waiting...

A UFO? I still have a jacket for my grandson, a jacket for my granddaughter, two sweaters for myself, and various socks for the Christmas market on my needles. Plus, I need to use up leftover yarn to make bag charms, bookmarks, keychains, and the first Advent calendars need to be finished too....🙈

I have one less UFO

It had been sitting unfinished in a box for at least 10 years. Today I unraveled it. I’d used a crochet hook that was way too big back then. 



It’s definitely enough for a new dishcloth, and I’m sure I’ll find a use for the little flowers

For UFOs that are more than 10 years old, you’ll get extra bonus points for unraveling or finishing them. Wow.

Do you have any other long-standing UFOs?

Oh yes, so many of them.

I found a beautiful little jacket—it’s definitely been sitting in the drawer where I found it for much longer than 15 years. It’s almost done—just a few loose ends to weave in and the sleeve hems to finish. I think I noticed back then that something wasn’t quite right, which is why I didn’t finish both sides.

Now it’s sitting on my sofa, and I’m thinking about how to finish it. It’d be such a shame to rip it out.

Next week, I plan to really focus on it. 

Oh wow, 15 years is definitely well-aged.
