"He is alive......" Dr. Frankenstein was a little crazy when he created his monster, but he was also brilliant in his own way.
This monster may not be pieced together from body parts, but from lots of yarn, stuffing and wire, yet it looks at least as amazing as Dr. Frankenstein’s monster.
With its impressive height of 80 cm, Frankenstein is sure to catch the eye and makes the perfect Halloween decoration.

What you’ll need:
Gründl Happy yarn (100 g = 250 m, 100% polyester):
- Green approx. 350–400 g
- Black approx. 80 g
- Gray (leftover)
- Some wire mesh for joints and any parts you’d like to stabilize or make movable
- Some white fabric as well as red and black felt-tip pens for the eyes and mouth (yellow too, if needed)
- Yellow safety eyes/glue to attach the fabric
- Old children’s clothing (preferably black – sweater and pants) size 74/80
- 3.5 mm crochet hook, yarn needle, scissors and stuffing
What you need to know:
Magic ring, single crochet, half double crochet, increases and decreases, embroidery, sewing together
This is only the pattern for Frankenstein’s monster!
