Crocheted appliqués are a great idea for putting even the tiniest amounts of leftover yarn to good use in crochet. Especially now in summer, when it’s hot, you often don’t feel like working on a larger project with warm yarn. But you might not want to give up crocheting completely either...




With the animal numbers, you often only notice at second glance that they are numbers. Crocheted simply as appliqués, you can use them to embellish a little jacket or a sweater. If you crochet them double and stuff them with a little craft stuffing, they’re great as cake toppers or scatter decorations, e.g. for a child’s birthday party or even for the first day of school.
