These washcloths are a great project that can be knitted even on warm days. All six have a different pattern. That way, it doesn’t get boring, and you’ll learn new patterns along the way that you can also use for other projects.

Each washcloth can be knitted from less than one skein of cotton.

To the knitting pattern

Have you ever crocheted with scrubby yarn? It has a slightly rough surface, dries quickly, and is colorful. That’s why you can crochet beautiful dish sponges from it, which can also be used for showering and bathing, by the way. Since items crocheted from this yarn can easily be washed at 60° in the washing machine, the sponges always stay hygienic and clean without their shape or color suffering.
You need about half a skein for one dish sponge.
