Not much, Josefa—it’s way too warm for that. I’m just knitting a few rows on my jacket every now and then.

Best regards, Inge

You’re right, this muggy weather is getting to me, too.
But there’s always something to do, so I’m continuing to work on the temperature blanket—in a nice, bold red to match the midday temperature.
I’ve also discovered a few things here in the new arrivals section; the snake is in the works, and the materials for the UFO with the little green alien have arrived—that’ll be the next project.

Despite the muggy weather, I’m crocheting a few rows in the evenings on a different color variation of my Noami shawl. I think a new photo with fresh colors would be great.

Also, a summer top is slowly coming together for the test crocheters.

And then I’ve already started a whole new project.

Things are going well again right now—I go through phases like this and that. 😊

Have a wonderful day, everyone, and hope it doesn’t rain too much ☔
Best wishes, Karoline

I’m taking new photos for my doll patterns—and I’m revising the patterns while I’m at it. Today I finished the poncho. I’m really proud of that, because my new camera is broken. The manual zoom doesn’t work anymore. So I dug out my old camera again. That did the trick. When you have to crawl too close to a subject, the subjects end up looking “bulgy.” The dolls are supposed to look straight into my camera. But when I’m right up close, they all squint. So luckily, the old camera has to do the new one’s job now.

But I’ve also already picked and washed 2 kg of strawberries!

I wish us all a wonderful day and hope we’re all spared from the storm tonight.
Best regards, Ina

Ina, I’m familiar with that “bulging” issue too. That’s why I usually take photos from farther away and then crop the images.
I’m in the same boat as you: I’m also taking tons of new photos of doll clothes right now and revising the patterns. My study looks like a mess at the moment: dolls, doll clothes, photo lights, yarn—everywhere...

Yeah, Ruth, it’s exactly the same for me. All the doll accessories I’ve managed to find are lying around—some sorted into little piles, others unsorted—as leftovers on the living room carpet, in the wicker furniture in the sunroom, and on the table. There’s also yarn lying around because I have to rework some of the designs.

I also take photos of the dolls from a distance, but then I can’t see very well on the camera’s small display. I don’t realize until I’m at the computer whether the ladies are all standing straight and not looking to the right or left. I have photo lights lying around, too, but I don’t really like using them. I prefer natural light, so I just have to wait to take the photos.

Anyway, today and tomorrow I have to reknit a turtleneck sweater with cables. I only found one model of it left, and for the photo I need three different colors that go well together. So tonight I’ll just pretend I bought the pattern.

Best regards, Ina

Hi everyone,

I’m currently working on a new little doll that just popped into my head.

Actually, I still have a few unfinished projects, but I’ll finish those later.

On the side, I’m also updating a few older patterns. After all, there won’t be much time for that again in the fall and winter.

Best wishes and have a wonderful, creative summer,

Danie

I was the “wish fulfiller”

I’ve finished a total of 4 so far.

After test-cooking the first two, they turned out okay. No more burnt fingers. So today I finished another 2

I’m currently embroidering buttons for my daughter—she wants to sew little pouches and such and decorate them with the buttons. She asked me the other day if I could embroider the pieces for her—of course I’ll do it😆
I’m also continuing to knit my jacket.

Best, Inge

Right now, I have three projects on my needles: a Karlos, a new pair of baby pants, and a shawl as a gift for a friend.

It’s soooo warm here. My hands are sticky.... right now, I can barely keep them on the keyboard for more than a second. It’s too warm for me to work with yarn or needles.

My next project is to take a new cover photo for my doll’s cardigan. The ladies are doing their best, but I just can’t decide between this picture or that one. I’m putting off the decision until tonight.

Love, Ina

I worked on this today when I got back from my physio appointment.
First I embroidered 3 more buttons for my little girl, and then turned an embroidery hoop into a picture frame with a twist

Best wishes, Inge
