Our wedding outfits :-)

How about we show our wedding outfits here? I got this idea from Wollwunder-Petra’s post, when she showed her daughter’s dress along with its transformation.
I only still have a photo from my second wedding; the ones from the first all went to my daughters, since I didn’t care about them anymore. The second time I only got married at the registry office, although a church wedding would have been possible too, but neither of us wanted that. A white dress was no longer an option for me for the second wedding either; I sewed myself a suit from sky-blue jacquard, with a white blouse underneath, a pillbox hat with a veil on my head, and sand-colored pumps. The suit was from a Burda pattern back then.

Today everything creaks everywhere.....LOL 

Fun idea—I’ll have to take a look tomorrow and snap some pictures; back then, everything was still on paper. I think I still have both pictures—I did give it a second try after the first one didn’t work out. But both times it was just a civil ceremony, so the dresses could easily be reused for other occasions.
