Virgin wool is itchy—what can you do?

Unfortunately, genuine virgin wool is often quite itchy. A wool wax bath can help with this; the wax coats the fibers so that no bristles stick out. You can buy wool wax inexpensively at a pharmacy or online.

I’ve tried this before. It works pretty well, but you have to be careful not to use too much lanolin... ;-)
