When the weather is nice in the garden, on the way to work on the train or bus, in the waiting room ... there are always opportunities to crochet outside ♥
Small side projects are ideal for that, and you can often use up some of your yarn stash too ;-)

You can never go wrong with the Knobblys —charming little bumpy balls that put a smile on everyone’s face ... Crocheted up quickly with just a little cotton yarn!




The little leftover flowers are also ideal for crocheting outdoors: the layers are crocheted individually and joined into a little flower with a pretty button. That way even the tiniest bits of leftover yarn can be used up ♥

Grannies are great for on the go. Keep one in your bag to work on now and then, and in the end you'll have quite a few that can be sewn / crocheted together into a blanket. 



Granny No. 6 is also suitable for smaller leftovers, because this granny can also be made in multiple colors. 



Granny No. 7 is a bit calmer in style. Here you'll need a somewhat larger leftover for the center section, and possibly a contrasting color for the last round. 

All the grannies are the same size and can be combined. I have included a crochet chart, and I also write out which stitches are crocheted for each round. 

You can crochet beautiful, colorful egg cozies from small amounts of leftover yarn. Anyone who likes to enjoy a boiled egg for breakfast in the morning will surely be happy about a handmade crocheted egg cozy like this, especially since they are not only useful for keeping eggs warm, they also make pretty table decorations that can vary depending on the season.


Now in spring, for example, a ladybug egg cozy like this is perfect. You can crochet it quickly, because you only need a few scraps of yarn in red, black, and skin tone.


You can also crochet the spring blossom egg cozies from leftover yarn. For one blossom, you only need about 25–30 g of one color and a tiny bit of green.
