Yarn Addiction

Dear users, dear authors,
How are you currently indulging your love of yarn? 

Because of my shoulder problems, I can’t work the way I’d like to. So right now, I’m collecting patterns and the right yarn to go with them.
When I find beautiful yarn, I “stock it away.” You can never have enough yarn 😊

Mine is more than satisfied right now, since I also got some yarn for my birthday. And since I’m participating in the swap again this time, it’s the perfect opportunity to sort everything out once more—and then all I have to do is pick out some suitable patterns for the new yarn.

Yesterday I gave away a little over 1 kg of acrylic yarn for charity so I’d have more space for new projects. Now I can go shopping again🤭

I’m trying to hold back and work through my stash. I’ve sold some of it.

I’m also participating in the swap this time—let’s see if I can swap a few more skeins. In the meantime, I’m enjoying what I have. 

I just finished sorting my yarn stash by color! A heavenly experience. Seriously: yarn makes you happy 💗

I, too, have given away a lot of yarn... and I actually only wanted to buy yarn for “planned” projects. That worked out for about a whole year. Then I’d take some from my stash and buy colors to match. It was always sort of half and half. Then last week, I stumbled upon a little shop from Lithuania—and boom. .... These were exactly the colors I’d been looking for in a set for my scarf project but couldn’t find back then. Now these colors are going into my stash for the time being. And here I was just trying to stick to natural/untreated wool for dyeing.... 🤷😁
Wool is something you get because you WANT it, not because you NEED it....
