Crafting Berry Motifs

You can crochet a small berry basket with all kinds of berries from your leftover yarn using this pattern: red currants, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, cherries, and strawberries. This keeps the children’s play shop well stocked during berry season. And the berries can also be used to decorate desserts in the children’s play kitchen.



The strawberry egg cozies  are very easy to crochet and add a cheerful splash of color to your breakfast table. Since you only need very little yarn for one egg cozy, you can also make great use of your leftover yarn here.

You can tackle this tea light holder as a craft project for the upcoming strawberry season, especially if you’d like to make something together with your child.



The tea light holder is made of photo cardstock and is about 2 cm tall; the strawberry motif measures about 10 x 11 cm. If the “seeds” are too small for children’s hands, they can be drawn on instead of glued on.
