I really enjoy knitting cable patterns because they create beautiful eye-catching designs. Here are 3 examples from me. I hope you have lots of fun knitting them.
Warm regards from Ina
Fingerless mitts with a decorative cable
You can always use these for the transitional seasons, and they also make great gifts. They are modern because your little fingers stay free, for example to use your phone. Even so, your hand stays warm. We knit them with a set of double-pointed needles. There is a decorative cable on top. The insides are stockinette stitch, and we have a thumb gusset for the perfect fit.

White short poncho
It, too, is an ideal garment for the transitional seasons. Quickly thrown on, it provides warmth without feeling restrictive. Your arms are free, for example to use the keyboard. Because it is shorter at the arms, you also won’t get caught on things in everyday life. The many cables are the eye-catchers here. Because it is knitted from 100% pure extra-fine merino wool, it is wonderfully soft, warm, and breathable.

Winter hat and infinity scarf or scarf
Every winter I’m happy all over again to have this set. The hat with the wide cable-pattern border is simply beautiful and is regularly admired. The ribbing with the cable pattern is doubled, and the hat itself is also knitted double. So it keeps you nice and warm. An infinity scarf or a scarf goes with it—whichever you prefer. The next winter is sure to come ;-)
