In spring, I’m always craving color in my handmade projects. That’s why I love crocheting pretty, colorful doll clothes from my bright yarn scraps for my granddaughters’ little dress-up dolls. Here are a few suggestions from me for you. I hope you have lots of fun making them.

Skirt with flounce and matching top

You can crochet it in one color, in bright colors, or with gradient yarns. The skirt length is variable. You can make mini skirts or very long ones—whatever the doll mommies or you like. The skirt and top close at the back with snaps.





Airy summer dress with hat

This is also a beautiful model for the little dolls. You can crochet it in one or several colors. If you crochet several hats for each dress, the doll mommies will have more mix-and-match options.



Dreamy princess dress in different design variations

You can crochet this pretty doll dress in one color or in bright colors. You can design it in different versions (see the 3 photos). My favorite version is the one with the rocailles beads. The beads are simply crocheted in as you go. I show you everything in great detail. For a nice shape, we sew tulle under the skirt.
