dear little helpers,
would you like to land a UFO (unfinished object / neglected craft project) / finish it this week?

Oh dear... those pesky UFOs.

I’m currently working on ingredients for the kids’ play kitchen. That’s so much more exciting than my started projects. 

Right now I’m tinkering with a pizza—so I don’t think things will work out with me and my UFOs. 

I really hope I can finally finish a (relatively new) UFO this week, even though I find the new projects much more exciting!

I think this is going to be a "favorite piece"... 

The jacket looks great. Steffi, that’s a super chic piece. How did you make it—crocheted or knitted? What kind of pattern is that?

Steffi, that’s sooo great!!!

It’s knitted in patches, so for example, cast on 31 stitches (depending on the size of the patch needed) and then knit three stitches together on the right side row of every row. That creates the first patch; all the others are knitted on one by one. The stitches for the next patch are then picked up from the previous one.... 
That’s how the jacket takes shape, patch by patch. Only the shoulders and sleeves are sewn....
