Question about free crochet patterns

Hi, maybe this question has already been asked, but since I’m a little unsure and don’t want to make any mistakes, I have a question: If I want to post a free pattern online here, do I need a business license for that?? Best regards 

No, you only need to register a business if you intend to make a profit, that is, if you want to earn money from your patterns.
If you're giving something away for free, you don't need to register a business ;-)

Better safe than sorry :-D But be careful with licensed products, like Disney and the like. Even if you offer them for free, you’re breaking the law and could receive a cease-and-desist letter, which could end up being expensive. Even though there are countless patterns on this topic circulating online, I personally wouldn’t dare do it, because, first of all, it’s not allowed, and second, as I said, it can get very expensive.
