The  Colorful Little Birds are a simple but wonderful project for small amounts of leftover yarn. The wings and little tails are made from real guinea fowl feathers in matching colors. You can use the birds as table decorations (then they get little feet made from floral wire so they can stand) or hang them on the Easter branches (then no wire feet are needed). Either way, they are a cheerful, colorful spring decoration.




It doesn't have to be just candy! These Easter Bunny Finger Puppets are also “sweet” and are sure to bring just as much joy, because they last much longer. The little puppets fit in any pants pocket and can accompany the child all year round. You can also crochet up small amounts of leftover yarn very well for the finger puppets.




And if you do want to give away a few chocolate eggs, package them in a handmade candy jar with an Easter bunny. All you need is an empty jam jar and a few scraps of leftover yarn to crochet around the lid.

Small baskets in all colors and shapes are part of Easter for me. You can decorate them beautifully, and they’re practical too. After Easter, you can use them for all kinds of other treasures.

For me, Easter is all about spring colors, and my “Fargerik” shawl definitely has them.
This is a great way to use up leftover yarn, since the pattern is worked throughout, even when changing colors. At the beginning and end, a solid-colored skein with its own pattern is added.
