Now I’m hooked, too. I love granny squares—those little square units are addictive. Casting on—great! I hate sewing them on. I’ll have to see if there’s a Karl jacket, too; with my hot flashes, I can’t wear a sweater. 

Anja, die Autorin hat auch eine Jacke, schau einfach mal....

Monika, danke das ist ja Klasse,du lässt uns an deiner begonnenen Arbeit teilhaben, da bekomme ich wirklich gleich Lust.
Ich werde meine 2 kleineren Arbeiten erst einmal fertig machen und danach zuschlagen. 

Hihi, I think it’s really funny that Karl fever has broken out here. :)) And I’m also amazed at how many of you have already noticed it.

We can knit Karl tunics together here, each of us using different colors. Awesome!
Once I’m done, I’m going to treat myself to Karl No. 4 as well. Take a look at it—it looks really great.

I’m about to start the second big piece, and tomorrow I’ll keep knitting on the color challenge on the side.

I admire all the Karls. They’re just something different. You can play with colors and use up leftover yarn. I’m looking forward to seeing your photos. Maybe I’ll get carried away too 

Yes, Petra, I also think it’s something completely different. I’ll definitely knit a Karl out of leftover sock yarn, too. For now, I’m working on one for the summer.

It would be great if you could join in, too.

I’m leaning more toward Karl No. 2. 
I’ve actually knitted something like that before, as a scarf. 
But this is going to be a mammoth project. You hard workers will pull it off again, and I... 😐

I really need to finish my long coat, otherwise it’ll be summer again.

Monika, I’m curious about your color combination, about how the colors work together.... 
I started knitting a jacket ages ago that was also knitted in Granny squares. I could already wear it as a vest; the sleeves are still missing, and I was sure I’d finished one and started the second. But I can only find the one I started. 😕 I’d still have enough yarn 🤔 but first I need to finish the blanket...... 
Round 110 😁 By now I can cover my legs and crochet on it at the same time....

@ Anja..... die Anleitung gibt es tatsächlich nur einem Buch.... einzeln bekommt man die nicht (jedenfalls habe ich die nicht einzeln gefunden). Das Buch heißt
" knit the Colors oft Australia " 
"Swing, Swagger Drape. Von Jane Slicer-Smith. .... 
Vielleicht hast du ja mehr "Recherche -Glück" .

 Hallo Andrea, schon das du hier bist....

Nachdem ihr hier alle von Karl schreibt, habe ich auch mal geschaut. Die sind ja mal ganz was anderes. Ich bin gespannt, was ihr für Farbkombinationen davon macht.

Ich bin tatsächlich weiter dabei, an einer Krippe zu häkeln und meine alten Acrylgarne damit zu verarbeiten. Einen König kann ich euch heute zeigen.

Schön Andrea,dass du hierher gefunden hast.Ich musste heute bei dir zuschlagen und mein Material liegt für den Cardigan parat, das wird dann meine Fernsehbegleitung, da ich dann nicht an eigenen Anleitungen arbeite.
Auf die verschiedenen Farbkombis bin ich auch gespannt. Ich selbst habe mich für eine Kombi aus Farbverlaufsgarn und passenden Unis entschieden,  bei beiden Wollen konnte ich auf Vorräte zurückgreifen. 

Wow, Ines, du hast dir auch einen Karl geangelt! Super! Dann wird wohl jeder von uns "Karl-Süchtigen" eine andere Version stricken. Sehr spannend! Ich kann gar nicht aufhören, das zweite große Patch wächst schon. Es ist fast wie ein neues Spielzeug bei mir, von dem ich nicht loskomme. Und ich finde es sehr entspannend, auch mal eine Anleitung nachzuarbeiten anstatt nur zu entwerfen.

Claudia, schön, dass du nach sehr langer Zeit auch wieder hier dabei bist. Das freut mich!

Steffi, deine Weste sieht super aus. Wird das doch noch eine Jacke? Ich mag dieses Zacken unten gerne. Werde es beim Karl wohl ähnlich machen. Deine Decke sieht auch schon super aus. Du schaffst ja wirklich so einiges an Maschen.

Claudia, bin sehr gespannt auf weitere Krippenbewohner.

Claudia, I also think your nativity scene figures turned out absolutely fantastic. You’ve got quite a bit planned before Christmas.

Anja, von mir wird es künftig viele Patch-Fotos geben. Ich hab mir nämlich grade Karl 4 und 5 gekauft. Ich konnte mich einfach nicht entscheiden, und so habe ich beide genommen. Das macht enorm viel Spaß, sag ich euch. Grade weil es immer kleine Teile sind, bleibt es interessant und spannend.

Habt alle einen fleißigen und schönen Abend beim Nadelklappern.

Habe ein MP als Patch gestrickt:

Oh, da scheint ja eine hochansteckende Krankheit ausgebrochen zu sein, die Karlitis (oder Karlfieber). Da ich mir unter einem gestrickten Karl absolut nichts vorstellen konnte, habe ich kurz mal gegoogelt. Wow, welch ein Farbfeuerwerk! Also, die grosse Liebe auf den ersten Blick war es nicht, aber vielleicht motivieren mich dann eure Werke, es auch einmal zu probieren, einfach etwas weniger bunt. Mein Patchwork-pullover wird sehr viel zahmer - wenn er dann einmal wird! Im Augenblick stecke ich nämlich im Sockenfieber: Am Sonntag habe ich das Gum Gum Muster entdeckt und musste es natürlich gleich ausprobieren - toll für meine vielen Wollreste! Und heute stosse ich auf die Patch-Socken von appelino… Ich brauchte definitiv mindestens vier Hände und am besten gleich auch einen zweiten Kopf…

Yeah, Christina, you’re right. Sometimes I’d love to clone myself, too. Somehow I’m always running out of time. What you’re planning sounds really exciting, too. I’ll have to look it up right away. I’m just fascinated by this “piece-by-piece knitting.” Of course, you can do that in a single color, too. I just saw a picture in the gallery of a set—a top and skirt (Karla and ...) in blue with a splash of color on the side. It looks great.

Anja, what’s an “MP”? If you can do that, you can knit Karl, too. It’s knitted with relatively thin needles (size 3), though. Maybe it’ll work with thicker yarn, too. I’m going to try that out myself.

My second patch is definitely coming along. I’d like to start on the next section tomorrow.

Monika, ich habe einen Ministerpräsidenten gestrickt. Nee Spässle, eine MaschenProbe, dachte das sei eine übliche Abkürzung. 

Bähpfui, dünne Nadeln! Ich habe meine Anleitung umgerechnet von 3er Nadeln auf 4er Nadeln und selbst die sind mir noch zu schmal. Sollte ich nochmal loslegen, werden es sicher 5er Nadeln. 

Hier also ein großes Patch (und ich hoffe, ich habe richtig umgerechnet), möchte ich auch heute noch fertig bekommen und das zweite annadeln.

Oh Ruth, das freut mich. Glaub mir, es ist eine sehr schöne und spannende Sucht. Und sie macht wirklich Spaß. Karl Nr. 4 kommt bei mir ja auch noch auf die Nadel. Doch erstmal muss die Nr. 1 fertig werden.

Bin sehr gespannt, wie deiner dann aussieht.

Littlecherry, why are the patterns actually called “Karl”???

I haven’t made a “Karl” (yet)—I’d like to make a longer, looser jacket or coat.

Can the Karl 4 be lengthened as well? I’m pretty tall (1.78 m) and might like to lengthen it a bit. (I have to admit, I haven’t looked at the pattern very closely yet.)

Danke, Monika, für den Hinweis. So kann ich mir einen Karl (oder eine Karla) sehr gut für mich vorstellen. Ich bin nämlich dem Patchstricken verfallen seit den Hausschuhen von appelino: Es ist erstens sehr spannend, da man erst am Schluss richtig sieht, wie es wird, zweitens hat man nie so viele Maschen auf der Nadel und drittens muss  nichts zusammengenäht werden (das ist für mich "bäh"). Und im Gegensatz zu Anja stricke ich am liebsten mit Nadeln zwischen 2,5 und 4!

Christina, mir geht es genauso wie dir. Die Hausschuhe von appelino hab ich auch auf der Merkliste. Das dauert aber noch. Jetzt ist erstmal Karl dran.

Ja, Andrea, die Frage von Ruth habe ich auch. Ich würde den Karl auch gerne etwas länger stricken. Du hast dazu bestimmt Tipps, oder?

I still have 8 rounds to go, and then the blanket will be ready to be “fluffed up” in the washing machine.... 

Today I took a look at it and took some photos outside in daylight.... 
I’m already so excited to see how it turns out after washing.

My next project was actually supposed to be the socks (okay, maybe as a side project), but I think I’m actually going to knit the patch vest as a jacket after all. 
I’ll join in with the “patching” 😁😂

This is going to be a dreamy blanket. It was definitely worth continuing with it.

I still love cable patterns. Finished a headband this morning

Hi everyone.
I just had to chuckle a bit. “Why is Karl actually called Karl?”
That’s entirely the fault of my phone’s autocorrect. I’d written the pattern for the short-sleeve tunic early last year as a mystery KAL for a small knitting group on Facebook. As is usual with a KAL, there was a new section added every week. One time I wasn’t paying attention, and thanks to autocorrect, the headline read “Karl Part 5” or something like that instead of KAL. That had the ladies in the group in stitches, and from then on, the piece was called Karl. I simply numbered the different Karls because 1. I’m not good at coming up with names, and 2. if you type “Karl” into the search function here, all my Karls will pop up alongside various cute little crocheted animals.

Regarding lengthening Karl No. 4: Yes, it’s possible. You have three options.
Either, for the side dragon patch 14, only decrease every 6th row. This makes the patch 1/3 longer and gives the tunic a slightly more flared shape.
Or, instead of making patch 15 asymmetrical, knit it as a rectangle. This will automatically make Patches 16 and 17 larger as well, and the tunic will be approximately 8–10 cm longer. This will also result in a triangular Patch 18 on both the right and left sides.
Or simply knit a few straight garter-stitch rounds at the bottom until you reach the desired length. Repeat the same process on the sleeves, and they’ll match perfectly.

Eine Lustige Geschichte über Karl. Aber ich finde es toll, dass diese Art von Muster einen gemeinsamen Namen hat. 

Ich hab mein erstes Teilchen im Februar fertig. Noch immer bin ich an Zöpfen dran. Dieses Mal ein ganz dickes und warmes Stirnband. Mir ist immer so kalt und jetzt teste ich es mal mit doppeltem Garn, ob ich da dann endlich warme Ohren habe. 



Claudia auf deine Krippe bin ich gespannt. Ich hoffe, du zeigst uns auch mal Bilder von allen Figuren, welche schon fertig sind. Wie groß sind sie denn? 

Yeah, autocorrect really has a way of messing things up… That’s quite a story. I’d also been wondering how that name came about. In any case, it’s handy now because you can go straight to the right patterns.

So, I’ve used up a 100-gram skein, but it wasn’t quite enough to finish the third patch. 

Steffi zuerst wie immer meine Bewunderung zur Ausdauer mit deiner wunderschönen Decke.

Dann die Krippenfiguren,schön ,auf die fertige Krippe bin ich gespannt. 

Meine Güte,ihr seid ja mit euren Patches schon fleißig und scheinbar hat es nun ein paar mit angesteckt. 
Schmunzel ,so kommen mitunter Namen zustande. 

Ich selbst stricke seit gestern an der Jacke " Karlos", Patch 1 ist das größte Teil und bei Gr.44/46 hat es auch eine stattliche Maschenzahl,aber ich komme in meiner gemausten Freizeit gut voran und werde das 1.Foto bald zeigen können.

Andrea, that’s such a funny story about how your Karl family came to be. It couldn’t be more brilliant—chance just handed you the best advertising. That name in particular has already become something of a trademark. You have to come up with that first.

Thanks for your answer about extending the length, too. I also like it a little longer. I’ll do the same with Karl 1; it’s quite easy there. By the way, I’ve finished all four Patch 2 pieces and have Patch 3 on the needle. I plan to finish those tomorrow, too. Then it’s on to Patch 4. Here’s a photo from when I had finished Patch 2 once.

I’m really caught up in “Karl” fever now. I’ve at least knitted one side up to Patch 4, so the front and back are now joined. The individual sections aren’t very visible here because I started each one with the same color—without casting off, by the way. I just pulled a thread between the rows so I could count better on the other side. Tonight I plan to knit patches 3 and 4 on the other side. Tomorrow I’ll start on Patch 5. That’s going to be a bigger project, though—and I’ll have to do it on both sides. My brain was really tied in knots today, but Andrea patiently helped me figure it out. Knitting patches is totally new territory for me, so I have to get my head around it first. But now it’s going great.

Ja, Ines, ich weiß jetzt, was Stricksucht ist. :-) Lach.
Wenn ich die andere Seite unterm Arm fertig habe (bin dran), dann kommen die beiden größten Stücke, nämlich die Verlängerung von Patch 1 nach oben - vorne und hinten.

Nebenbei (haha) muss ich auch noch an der Farbaktion weiterarbeiten...

Monika, der einfache Karl? Oha. Bei meiner Anleitung scheint es schneller vonstatten zu gehen. Wieviele M habt ihr für diesen großen Patch auf der Nadel? Bei mir sind es pro Quadrat 81 M. 
Ich wollte ja nun jeden Tag eins fertig machen. Klappt dann heute nicht. Und das nächste Patch ist dann bei mir ein kleineres. 

Ich hab jetzt erst mal Stunden damit verbraucht meine Alexa (Lautsprecher) wieder auf Vordermann zu bringen, die ging seit gestern nicht mehr. Habe jetzt 1 h mit dem Service Chat verbracht, aber jetzt geht es wieder. Die ist doch mein "Gedächtnis". Sonst verpasse ich es morgen wieder zum Physio zu fahren.

Claudia, deine Könige sind alle sehr schön geworden. Da bist du ja noch eine Weile beschäftigt, bis alle Teile fertig sind. 

Ruth, die Faschingsmasken sehen auch gut aus. Die Ideen gehen dir ja dank deiner Enkel nicht so schnell aus. 

Anja, bin gespannt, wie deine Jacke am Ende aussieht. Du hast auf jeden Fall sehr schöne Farben ausgesucht. 

Bei mir ist gerade wieder ein Kissen fertig geworden. Bei der Rückseite habe ich mich im Karlmuster ausgetobt, 
nach eigener Idee. 

Mir hat der Karl ja auch sofort gefallen, deshalb habe ich mir die Nr. 4 ausgesucht. 
Ich freu mich, wenn ich jetzt endlich damit beginnen kann.

Anja, die einzelnen Patches sind unterschiedlich groß. Den großen habe ich mit 240 Maschen begonnen.

Marion, dein Kissen sieht ja mega gut aus! Das hast du wirklich super aufgeteilt, auch die Farben. Lustig, dass die Patchtechnik jetzt auch schon "Karlmuster" heißt.

Ich habe jetzt bei meinem Karl beidseitig - sowohl Rücken als auch vorne - jeweils bis Patch 4 alles fertig. Heute habe ich Patch 5 angestrickt und echt fast zwei Stunden an der Maschenaufnahme rumgewerkelt, um die Maschen richtig aufzuteilen. Ich war schon fertig - da stellte ich fest, dass die Maschenzahl mit der anderen Seite nicht übereinstimmte. Also aufgetrennt und nochmal ran. Dann stellte ich fest, dass nach meiner Zählung das Muster beidseitig nicht übereinstimmte. Denn die Streifen treffen sich ja in der Mitte und die müssen sich genau treffen. Also nochmal trennen und dann die einzelnen Schritte bis zu den Streifen abgesteckt und gezählt. Jetzt passt es - endlich.

So sieht mein Karl jetzt mit den fertigen 4 Teilen vorne und hinten aus. Die aufgenommenen Maschen vorne für das größte Stück 5, das jetzt kommt, sind insgesamt 258. Daran habe ich jetzt einige Zeit zu tun. Das Gleiche folgt ja dann auch auf der Rückseite. Für dieses Teil verstricke ich übrigens das Verlaufgarn, das von rosa ins blaue verläuft.

Woah, so viele Maschen! Da bin ich ja froh mit meinen wenigen. Monika, ich blick es nicht mehr bei deinen vielen Karls. Ist das mit dem Foto jetzt eine Jacke???

Ich habe endlich mein größtes Patch fertig, hier hatte ich 390 Maschen auf der Nadel.

Monika du bist ja schon ein Stück gekommen. Ich pausiere jetzt bis meine Wolle bei mir ankommt. 
Werde meine kleinen Anleitungen fertig häkeln und dann geht es weiter. 

Marion dein Kissen finde ich toll,schon allein das Grün macht es munter.

Claudia bei dir purzeln die Könige ja täglich von der Nadel, wieviel Figuren kommen da insgesamt zustande?

I just had to rip out two rounds 😤😝 Somehow I lost my focus and “misread” the pattern three times—four stitches each time in the round.... so the following rounds didn’t line up... So I had to do it all over again. Now I’m starting round 114 (of 120) 👍
My dog is sleeping comfortably at my feet, the fire is dancing in the fireplace, my audiobook is playing in the background, there’s a candle on the table, and a few “gummy animals” to snack on.... Now nothing can go wrong anymore....

I spent half the night experimenting with dragon patches. Now I’m actually way too tired to go to work. But there’s nothing I can do about it. I just wanted to show you this quickly—I think it might turn out well. It’ll probably be a jacket or an oversized slipover. Let’s see how it turns out....

Das ist Samba von Garnmanufaktur. Bleibt aber nicht bei rot-gelb. Der Farbverlauf geht dann in grün-blau über.

Von der garnmanufaktur hat meine Freundin ganz viele Garne 🤔 vielleicht kann ich mir das bei ihr in natura anschauen 😊 

Wow, Andrea, das sieht ja super aus, das wäre als Jacke auch meins. Drachenpatches - da hört sich ja schon alleine der Name spannend an. Auch das Garn - ein Traum. Da bin ich jetzt sehr gespannt, wie das weitergeht.

OMG Ines - 390 Maschen! Was für ein Riesenpatch! Und ich dachte schon, meins wäre groß. Ich hab gestern Abend nur ein paar Reihen geschafftt, aber es geht vorwärts. Auf dem Rücken wartet so ein Stück ja auch noch auf mich.

Hier ist endlich mal wieder die Sonne zu sehen, da bekomme ich Lust den Balkon zu richten - garnicht so einfach, dem Drang zum Pflanzen kaufen zu widerstehen.

Meine Könige haben jetzt auch ihr Kamel bekommen, die Chance auf eine komplette Krippe zur nächsten Saison ist ganz gut. Ich bin gespannt, wie weit ich mit meiner Acryl-Reste-Kiste komme.

I’m on the first patch of Patch 5 right now. As soon as it’s done, I’ll show you what it looks like. It’s slowly taking shape and looks great.

Andrea, I do the same thing—I have the posts sent to me by email and then just click on the links, just like Steffi described. That way, I don’t have to scroll and I always find the post I’m looking for right away. Because scrolling is really a hassle.

heute ist mir ein dummer Fehler passiert, bei Patch 9 vo 40 hab ich einfach vergessen nach der Maschenaufnahme noch M anzuschlagen und wunderte mich dann über ein Dreieck. Also ribbel, ribbel, ribbel. Deshalb habe ich heute nicht so viel zu zeigen.

Ich mache heute nun auch weiter, ich hatte mir ja Wolle zu meiner Vorhandenen dazu bestellt, die ist heute gekommen. Denke,dass wird nicht die letzte Jacke, es macht schon Spaß via Patches zu stricken und wer weiß, vll.wird ja die Nächste auch bunter.

Anja, that almost happened to me, too. I had to really wrap my head around this special way of knitting patches at first. My brain got all tangled up a few times... You have a total of 40(!) patches?? Wow—that takes some stamina. But it works well with patches, since the next goal is pretty small and manageable.

This is how far I’ve gotten with the front piece—the back piece is underneath it. You can already get a sense of what the sweater will look like. I’ll probably finish the last few rows of Patch 5 tonight.

Yes, my yarn is the Samba sock yarn from garnmanufaktur. Since I didn’t have any yarn for the project, I ordered the suggested yarn, but in a different color.  Mine is No. 4275, with black (899) as the contrasting yarn. And because it was a bit too green for my taste and I wanted to add a few shades of pink, I also added 2 skeins of No. 4230.
I don’t find it uncomfortable to knit with, though I did split the yarn a few times while casting on. But that was probably more because I usually cast on the stitches differently. I’ve also just done the gauge swatch. Let’s see how it feels later on.

You’ve really piqued my curiosity about the yarn from Garnmanufaktur. I’ll have to check it out. That said, I also really like the gradient yarn I’m currently working with from Rellana. It’s actually recycled yarn, and it knits up beautifully. I’m tempted to order some more of it… but I’ll hold off for now.

Uah Moni und Andrea was seid ihr für Strick"maschinen"? Bähm, zack, bum, haut ihr da M um M raus. Krass. 

Andrea die Farben der Drachenjacke und die Form der Drachenschuppen - eine Freude, das nur zu betrachten. 

Danke für die Farbkomplimente meiner zu meiner Wolle, die ist aber von alleine so. Habe bei der Bestellung das genommen, was am günstigsten war, ich oller Sparfuchs. Habe die gleiche Wolle noch in weiß, rosa, grau. Ich befürchte nur, dass die 5x100 g für die Basis nicht ausreichen werden. Der Schulter- und Ärmelteil wird nämlich Unifarben. Und wie bereits erwähnt, war das noch ein Schnäppchen, ist derweil auch teuerer geworden. Mal abwarten, vielleicht vertu ich mich auch in meiner Einschätzung (dann muss ich doch nachbestellen). 

Nein Ruth, meins ist kein Karl. Ich wollte was langes (der Popo muss immer verdeckt sein bei mir). 

Ich bin gespannt, wie der Drachenkarlos aussehen wird. 

Hi Monika, alles in bester Ordnung. Garnmanufaktur stellt mir die Wolle zur Verfügung, ich strick was Schönes draus und schreib ne Anleitung dazu. Win-Win-Arrangement für beide Seiten 😃. Garnmanufaktur verkauft die Wolle, mit meiner Anleitung als Guddi obendrauf. Und ich verdien mir, mit nur der Anleitung und jeder kann die Wolle nehmen die ihm gefällt, hier noch mein Urlaubsgeld dazu 😊

Andrea, das hab ich mir fast gedacht, dass du das mit der Garnmanufaktur so machst. Ich liebe solche Tauschgeschäfte.
Ich kann dich gut verstehen, dass das Stricken dein täglich Yoga ist. Für mich ist es genauso. Das entspannt mich total.

Anja, dieses Mal bin ich wirklich im Strickfieber, weil ich es bald fertig haben will. Das ist mega spannend, ein Teil nach dem anderen fertig zu sehen. Ich hab jetzt das große Stück am Rücken auf der Nadel. Danach kommt die Schulter. Mal sehen, wie weit ich am Wochenende komme.

Steffi, deine Decke ist ein absoluter Traum. Wowww... da stecken viiiiele Stunden Arbeit drin. Die sieht fast aus wie gewebt. Dein Ärmel sieht auch vielversprechend aus, jetzt bist du auch am "Patchen", oder?

Ruth, das ist ja spannend. So sehe ich mal, wie Karl 4 beginnt. Der kommt bei mir später auch noch dran. Sieht mit dem Garn jedenfalls schon mal richtig gut aus.

Da bei mir das größte Stück auf dem Rücken grade auf der Nadel ist, kann ich noch nicht viel zeigen. Das wächst ja am langsamsten. Sobald es fertig ist, kommt ein Foto.

Die superschöne Decke, das Kamel, die vielen Patches , eckig. spitz oder schon als Ärmel. Sie sind alle sehr gut gelungen und haben sehr schöne Farben.

Be careful with patchwork knitting!!! You’ll never be able to stop 🤣. It’s really addictive. It got me back in the last millennium. My first child was still in kindergarten back then (he’s 31 today) when I stumbled upon Horst Schulz’s book. I’ve been hooked on patchwork ever since. And for the past half a year, I’ve just been writing down what I’ve been patching together—and voilà, a new pattern 😅. I do knit and crochet other things now and then, but I’m completely hooked on patchwork—body and soul.

Horst Schulz’s technique is truly brilliant. I’ve had one of his books for a very long time. So far, I’ve only made patchwork quilts. If I can figure out how to upload the photos from my phone, I’d love to show you some.

Andrea, das Buch vom Horst Schulz hab ich gestern erhalten. Hatte das zum Schnäpchenpreis bei ebay gefunden. Als das buch raus kam war ich 24. So richtig schlau wird man aber aus dem Buch nicht finde ich. Schön, dass du dir das angeeignet hast und das nun allgemeintauglich niederschreibst. Da gibt es ja auch noch ganz tolle andere Formen... Halb rund, oder Sanduhrförmig. Aber da war ich intellektuell raus, weil da ja nnich steht, wie man die Ränder dann gerade bekommt.   

Finde es klasse, dass jetzt alle am patchen sind, ich finde das motiviert ungemein, weiter zumachen und dran zu bleiben. 

Da ich mal was anderes sehen muss farblich hab ich noch eine weitere Jacke gestartet, die dann wirklich aus Resten ist und kunterbunt wird. 

Leider meckert grad mein Arthrosedaumen und ich muss mal Pause machen. Werde ganz hibbelig, dass ich das jetzt mal aus den Händen legen muss. 
Habe eben mal die alten Knochen beturnt, auch nicht so gesund stundenlang zu sitzen und zu knibbeln. Hat alles ordentlich gekracht beim bewegen. :-)

I’m already totally hooked on patchwork. Actually, I have another project on the back burner and really need to get back to working on it. Buuut… I just can’t shake the excitement about Karl. It’s really crazy—I’ve never felt this way before, honestly. :) You’ve totally infected us. Luckily, it’s a very creative virus, and it’s a ton of fun, too.

Marion, your Karl looks absolutely gorgeous with that color combination. Even though they aren’t my favorite colors, I still like it incredibly much. The beginning looks pretty simple, at least.
