Reusing and Upcycling Shirts / Sewn Tops

Dear users, dear authors,
what do you do with old shirts / sewn tops?

I turn old shirts or blouses/shirts into toys or parts of toys—for example, on the Kasiopeai, the head and feet used to be blouses from a school friend. You can also use them to make bags or for patchwork

I use pieces from blouses for my gift bags. Here, the sleeve—often just for my appliqués.

I’ve already used T-shirts for doll clothes.

Since I don’t like smocks or aprons and never wear them, I really wear a lot of shirts until they fall apart in the kitchen or while cleaning the house. Then there are always stains that won’t come out, so I cut them into small pieces and toss them in the stuffing bag.
The clothes that are still in good condition (the ones we’ve just outgrown again...) go to a friend who supports a clothing bank.

Hi everyone
I sew cloth diapers out of old T-shirts, sweatshirts, etc. I’ve been using them for years for my foster children, and now I also sew some for friends. They’re just as easy to put on as Pampers. Sustainable in two ways.
The rest gets turned into a washable alternative to disposable paper towels. I use very small scraps as stuffing.
