In a craft forum, I’d like to be able to exchange ideas with like-minded people, have various techniques covered, learn tips and tricks every now and then, or discover something new.
It’s also fun to chat about “side topics,” like how to organize your craft projects and workspace, meet people who share similar interests, and… and… and—there’s so much more.
So basically, everything just the way it’s happening here right now.
I agree with Veronika—sharing ideas and helping each other out when problems arise is, for me, one of the most important things in a craft forum. But chatting about things that have absolutely nothing to do with crafts is also part of it. In short, it’s about a friendly and positive atmosphere, just like the one we have here.
Dear Josefa, you should imagine it as a real group of craft enthusiasts who meet in the afternoon or evening for a cozy chat. Everyone brings their craft supplies. Everyone is working on something different. You chat about projects you’ve started, share new ideas, show each other your creations, ask questions, get help, sometimes chat about personal things, exchange recipes, and so on. It’s all very relaxed and cozy. You just get to know each other better and better and slowly grow closer as a group. You know each other, feel comfortable together, and are part of a community of like-minded people.
I certainly feel at home here in the CP forum. And anyone who regularly posts or reads along—and gradually joins in—will also feel very welcome and like they belong here.
Exactly.
Ina sums it up perfectly. You couldn’t have put it better. That’s why I love being here on the CP Forum so much. There’s still mutual respect, friendliness, and fun here… things that, unfortunately, are increasingly “getting lost” in real life.
All of us here have managed to hold onto that, and that’s a good thing.😉👍
I completely agree with the others.
I haven’t been here very long, but I’ve felt right at home here on the CP forum from the very beginning.
A casual get-together with a respectful and friendly atmosphere. Just chatting, discussing various topics, finding help, great patterns and ideas, lots of fun, and so on. There’s just too much to list.
Before I found CP, I’d already checked out a few other forums. - They’re nothing like CP!!!
I’m so glad to be here. 🙂🙂
Stay just the way you are, everyone!
Best regards
Marina
I found two beautiful table runners on Pinterest. I just can’t seem to find the patterns for them. Does anyone have any experience with how to find these patterns? That would be great. Thanks in advance
