romantic motifs + designs

Dear users, dear authors,
what do you understand by romantic designs / motifs?

"Romantic" could be something a bit more playful:
soft colors, lots of little flowers and lace
airy fabrics—maybe tulle… just something sweet and girly.

Lots of little flowers and/or butterflies, ruffles and flounces, pastel shades.

For me, that includes soft colors, lace, shabby chic, ruffles—unique and playful,

When it comes to sewing, I think of ruffles, bows, floral motifs, and lightweight fabrics or satin—basically, all the elements that also evoke a “spring-like” or “summery” vibe. I’d also consider anything playful with beautiful details part of a romantic look.

Oh, I’m already getting ideas :D.

I feel the same way as Sonja—just thinking about romantic styles inspires me. When it comes to fabrics, I’m thinking of light, airy fabrics with little roses, all in soft colors, with ruffles or flounces—everything playful and flowing. Pastel colors, little flowers as embellishments. I really love romantic styles.
