DIY makeup pads: Are they worth it?

Dear users, dear authors,
do you use DIY makeup pads? Are they worth it? Do you like them? Are they actually sustainable?

Are crocheted dishcloths sustainable? Cloth handkerchiefs? Reusable bottles?

When it comes to reducing waste, crocheted pads really help cut down on trash. I’ve made some myself, and since I’ve always enjoyed trying out different crochet patterns, it’s been a lot of fun. They go in the washing machine and then back into the closet. None of them have worn out yet. 

I really like using crocheted makeup pads.
They have a gentle massaging effect.

I also think knitted dishcloths are better than the store-bought ones.

I find them very practical and crochet some every now and then. That way, I can use up leftover yarn and have something sustainable.

I hardly ever wear makeup and rarely need any, but I’ve sewn a few from cotton and terry cloth. It’s a great way to repurpose old towels and use up fabric scraps.

I also think they’re great for my daughters—this will probably start at some point—and for Carnival. It’s also fun to sew some together with the kids.
