If you have lots of colorful acrylic yarn scraps, you could crochet a pretty seat cushion for your children or grandchildren. It gets its stability from upcycling an old mattress. You simply cut a suitable circle out of an old mattress and cover it with the crocheted cover. It is closed with a zipper, so you can also remove and wash the cover.

My next suggestion is also a lovely project to make children or grandchildren happy. With just a few grams of lace yarn, you can crochet an enchanting triangular shawl.

My third suggestion is something for adults, too. You can crochet pretty tealight holders from some cotton yarn. For this, we need a small jam jar and some cotton yarn.
