Strawberry season begins in May ... time for Emilia Strawberry!

As her name already suggests, she is responsible for the well-being of the little strawberry plants. To make them beautifully red and sweet, it takes a little more than just sunshine. And this gnome provides that “more.” If you love strawberries, you’ll love her too.

Emilia Strawberry is made with acrylic yarn 50g/135m and hook size 2.5, and is approx. 23 cm tall. Skills: single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, treble crochet, increasing and decreasing, crab stitches (there is a great video here on the blog for anyone who doesn’t know them), slip stitches (also as a substitute for crab stitches), crocheting in spiral rounds and in rows, puff stitch, and color changes. The pattern in PDF format includes 15 pages with 37 pictures that explain Emilia’s creation step by step.

A step-by-step pattern that is easy to follow and illustrated with pictures.
Materials: Schachenmayr Extra Merino 130 m/50 g, 3 mm set of double-pointed needles, 2.5 mm crochet hook
The following stitches are needed for the hat: knit stitch, purl stitch, yarn over, knit 2 together, purl 2 together, knit 3 together.
