If you prefer to make beautiful things yourself rather than buy them, then I’d like to suggest these Christmas tree ornaments as one of your next projects: The ornaments are easy to make and can be easily color-coordinated with the rest of your decorations.



These ornaments measure approximately 7 x 8.5 x 8 cm and can be made using either photo cardstock or slightly thinner decorative paper.

Small doll babies (43–50 cm) can be dressed just as cutely as real babies. But this summer outfit also looks great on doll children, as I’ve just seen in the gallery. The top is knitted from the top down using raglan sleeves. You’ll have a lot of fun knitting this set—consisting of a sweater, pants, and headband—especially when you imagine the sparkling eyes of a doll mom who’s absolutely thrilled with this gift.

It’s a great project for knitters with some experience.

Even small teddy bears (25–30 cm) can be dressed up just as nicely as dolls—for example, with these overalls. They don’t have any buttons but are still easy to put on and take off. Is someone in your circle of friends getting married? How about a truly unique and personal gift: The Heart-Shaped Door Wreath with Doves is the perfect gift for all lovers.
