Yes, Josefa, and a weekend that so many of us have been eagerly awaiting, because tomorrow we have a class reunion. We’re meeting again after three years, since the 2020 reunion unfortunately had to be canceled due to ;-) ground fog ;-) — meaning COVID-19.
Wishing everyone a wonderful and relaxing weekend
I hope you all have a relaxing weekend. Unfortunately, I have to work.
Weather-wise, it’s very cold and unpleasant today, with a light snow flurry. Time to curl up on the couch.
I’d love to crochet, but I’m still—or already again—in a “rest period.” I have tendonitis in my hand. Yes, that happens. I went to the doctor. I’m supposed to cool it
with quark (an old home remedy).
I’m getting a hand brace on prescription.
It’s gray and overcast here, but (still) dry. We probably don’t have to worry about snow—it’s still almost 15 degrees.
I’m knitting socks, and I’d also like to try crocheting some, but first I’ll make a few “classic” pairs to restock my supply. Other than that, I don’t have anything planned—I’m getting ready for a somewhat unpleasant doctor’s appointment on Monday.
With that in mind: Have a great weekend, everyone!
Oh no, Andrea, that would be a total disaster for me! I hope you feel better soon so you can get back to crocheting. Reading a book can be a nice treat every now and then, too. :)
Veronika, I hope everything works out well for you on Monday. And now, enjoy the weekend.
To everyone here, I hope you have plenty of time for your beloved knitting, crocheting, or whatever else you enjoy doing.
The weather here is truly November-like—gray, cold, rainy, and windy. So I’m grateful for a warm living room and my couch. I have a few new knitting projects waiting to be worked on.
Tomorrow I’ll also be pickling the fresh olives that just arrived. I’m really looking forward to that. I’ll probably bake a cake again, too.
I hope you all have a wonderful and relaxing weekend.
@Andrea: I’m so sorry for you, and on top of that you have to work! I hope you feel better soon.
Since the weather here is supposed to be very rainy, cold, and windy, I haven’t planned anything special. I’m sure I’ll spend a lot of time crocheting and doing crafts.
Best regards
Marina
I finally have the day off again today—I’ve been working nonstop for three weeks now; it’s been a challenging but rewarding assignment. Today I need to get my house in order, and this afternoon I have another 2-hour assignment. Then I’ll be embroidering cards—I’m already running a bit late on my Christmas cards. Tomorrow I’ll just be embroidering and finishing up my Christmas elf figurines. I made them with swap yarn and will show them off there.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
