I'm afraid I'm stuck

Hi everyone, maybe someone would be kind enough to help me. I got some knitting patterns from Alan Dart, but I’m having trouble understanding his knitting terms. I already have quite a few English translations, but unfortunately not all of them are included. Does anyone have experience with this type of knitting?
