Washcloths, dishcloths + potholders: make colorful décor now

here in this thread you’ll find delightful patterns for colorful + decorative washcloths, dishcloths and potholders that you can use to brighten up your everyday life. Make them now.

Things can definitely be a little colorful in the kitchen. With scrubby yarn (e.g., Creative Bubble by Rico), you can crochet beautiful dish sponges that are excellent for gently removing dried-on food residue from dishes. But they are also perfectly suited as shower and massage sponges.

And the great thing is: after use, these dish sponges go into the washing machine at 60° and can therefore be used again and again. They don’t lose any of their beauty and are fresh and hygienically clean again in no time.

I love hand-knitted washcloths and dishcloths. Bunnies are great all year round—especially for bunny lovers

This dishcloth is knitted with knit and purl stitches. I have written out each row, so beginners can manage it too. You’ll also find a chart for anyone who prefers to knit from that. 

Cotton yarns are suitable. With a thick yarn (90 m per 50 grams), this cloth can also be used well as a potholder or trivet. 

With these 6 different cloths, you’ll learn 6 simple knit-and-purl patterns at the same time. They are all very easy to knit, even with leftover yarn. Each cloth only needs about 30 g.
