...to my classmate who’s giving me a ride this coming Saturday when we’re having our class reunion again. Since we’ve had to skip it for three years now, we’re all really looking forward to seeing each other again. She has to drive past my front door anyway, so she’ll stop briefly and I’ll hop in :-)

Petra, we started meeting after 25 years and then got together every 5 years until we turned 60, then every 2 years, and since turning 70, we’ve been meeting every year. Unfortunately, we’ve had to cancel a few times because of this stupid pandemic, but thank goodness it’s working out again this year.
